Fishing Report - 17th of April 2025

Had a nice day out buzzer fishing with Ceri Jones (www.castingwithcerijones.com) on Thursday 17th of April 2025. Hatches of buzzer in the morning weren't bad and the olives were out in force after lunch. We had four to the boat, all on buzzer with many pulls and misses. Ceri will be on the boat again next Wednesday with a report to follow.

I still have limited availability for April and May. Get in touch if you fancy a day out on Lough Corrib.

Fishing Report - 5th of May 2025

Haven't had time to post recently as I have been flat out with the guiding. The fishing on Lough Corrib has ranged from not bad to very good over the last week or so. We have had good fishing on buzzers along with dry and wet mays. The buzzer fishing is good at the moment with some days producing good numbers of fish and some good size trout being caught. Have a look at some recent photos below. (Doing some guiding on behalf of Corrib View Lodge and Angling Services)

The Caenis fishing has started early this season and has already produced good fishing in the early mornings.

I have a couple of dates still available for May and June. Also taking bookings for the second Mayfly hatch in July, contact me for further information.

11th of June 2025

I was on Lough Corrib for a short session with Rob yesterday. 11 fish boated with many more hooked and lost. Still enough mayfly going off to keep the fish interested. All fish were caught pulling wet mayflies and claret dabblers. The lake is still fishing well when the conditions suit. I still have availability for June and some of July. Get in touch if you fancy a day on the lake.
